The health and comfort of the men frequenting^ the Soldiers' Club in Syd-ney-street has been much enhanced hy the provision of hot plunge and shower baths. The whole of the heating arrangements for these have been carried out free of cost by the Wellington Gas Company. Two large gas circulators, capable of heating sixty gallons per hour have been installed, in addition to a fortygallon gas copper, from all of which a large supply of hot water is constantly available.
