The Consolation Handicap in connection with the Brooklyn Harriers Club was run on Saturday. The course was- from the- Wakefield-street-Clyde-quay corner to tho Oriental Bay tram terminus, a distance of just over two miles. H. Edhouse (65sec), won by over 100 yards, in lluiin lOeoc. with F. Harlen (25sec). second, and J. Molloy (scr), tliird, a.nd fastest tiinc.
