SUPPLYING MILK TO WELLING- , . -TON. (»I KLEORAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) LEVIN, This Day. Before the Magistrate (Mr. Poynton) to-day, H. Munro, Stock Inspector, on behalf- of the Department of Agriculture, proceeded against six district dairy farmers for supplying milk for human consumption, to Wellington from unregistered dairies. Mr. Munro explained that the Department brought the cases as a warning, it did not wish for a heavy penalty on this occasion. The Magistrate said he would let the present offenders off lightly, but future cases would be severely dealt with. He fined them 10s each with costs. 16s.
