AUSTRALASIAN ARMY SECOND CONTINGENTS ARRIVE.
MELBOURNE. Ist February. Senatoi Pearce (Minister of Defence) has announced that the Second Australian Contingent has reached Egypt safely. DUNEDIN, Ist February. The Hon. J. Allen has received advice that the troopships with the Second Reinforcements from New Zealand, under Colonel Bowler, arrived eafely at their destination, and it is also reported the horses arrived in good condition.
