PERSONAL MATTERS
Dr. Truby King i» on a visit to Wellington. Mr. H. L. Young, of Palmerston North, is on a visit to Wellington. Mr. H. J. Wynne, Chief Electrical Engineer to the Railway Department, is on a business visit to Auckland. The Hon. A. L. Herdman will leave for the North to-night on business connected with the Prisons Department. Mr. M. J. Mack, secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, will return from the North to« night, The Hon. W. F*aser left for the South last night. He will be away for about ten dayß, and intends to pay a visit of inspection to the Otago goldfieldis. Lieutenant P A. Elworthy, New Zealand Motor Reserve, who was appointed recently on probation to the garrison in Samoa, will proceed to England shortly to undergo an operation. Mr. E. J. Stork, general manager of the National Mutual Life Association, and Mr. F. W Nicholson, manager for New Zealand for the association, left by the Wahine last night for Ule South on a tour «1 inspection.
