HURRICANE IN THE ISLANDS

CROPS DAMAGED. SCHOONER ASHORE AT SAMOA. (BT TELEGRAPH— PRBSS ASSOCIATION.) SUVA, This Day. The Atua, from Tonga via Samoa, reports a hurricane at Tonga and Vayatt. Crops Were damaged and buildings unroofed. There was a severe gale at Samoa, vWhere the schooner Manua is ashore. The Atua encountered a severe hurricane between Vavau and Samoa.
