FIRE AT BRUNNERTON
SEVERAL PREMISES TOTALLY DESTROYED. (BT TELEGRAPH.— PRBSS ASSOCIATION.) GREYMOUTH, This Day. A fire at Brunnerton yesterday destroyed the Buck's Head Hotel, Nimmo'e general store, fhe Borough Council offices, the Druids' Lodgeroorn, and Armstrong's store and bakery premises. The latter was unoccupied, except for a small quantity of hardware stored there. Tiie fire originated in this building. All the Buildings were totally destroyed, but a quantity of the stock' was caved. The total damage is estimated at £3000. This is the' second time within twelve months that the Borough Chambers and Druids' Lodgeroom have been burnt out. The origin of the fire is not knowu. Nimmo was insured as follows :—: — £500 on the stock and £150 on the building; the hotel, £400 on the building and £200 on the stock and furniture. There was little br no cover on the others. When you see the Fire Brigade rushing along the street, think of tho British Dominions General Insurance Company, Panama-street. They cover »ll losses by fire. — Advt.
