REFORMATIVE TREATMENT FOR THREE YEARS.
(«T TBLKJRAPH— PKBSS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN, This Day Jamos Edward Morgan, aged 20, on fivo charges of theft from the Postal Department at Oamaru came before Mr. Justice Sim for sentence this morning, and was ordered to bo detained for reformative treatment for a period not exceeding threo years.
The Niagara, , which arrived at Auckland from Sydney this morning, brought an English mail, which is duo here early to-morrow morning.
