BRITAIN'S PREPARATORY MEASURES. AIRCRAFT ATTACK ANTICIPATED. LONDON, 2nd August. The Times says : " Although no mobilisation of the fleet has been ordered, all preparatory and precautionary measures have been taken. The whole of 'BrU tain's most effective warships are at sea, the coastal ports are manned, wire entanglements erected, searchlights are playing, the men are sleeping beside their guns; an aeroplane attack is anticipated by the mounting of anti-aircraft guns in elevated positions in the country and the cities.'! '
