HAY BE SUSPENDED. (deceived August 4, 12.10 p.m.) LONDON. 3rd August. As a result of a conference between Ministers and financiers there is a, possibility that the Bank Act will be bus-. pended. A .proclamation has been issued extending the currency of bills of exchange, other than cheques or demands bills, T>v a month.
