As the t result of an altercation between an intoxicated stoker and an officer of the Australasian United S.N. Company's steamer Kanowna. the stokers demanded that the officer be removed from the ship. The captain refused, and twentyfivo stokers left the ship. All have been arrested. The steamer is delayed in consequence.
