Twelve thousand East Enders attended a protest meeting in Victoria. Park against the Welsh Church Disesablish* meiit Bill. The speakers included the Duke of Devonshire, Lord Robert Cecil, M.P., and tho Bishops of St. Asaph (Dr. Edwards) and St. David's (Dr. Owen). The speakers reiterated tho Unionists intention to wipe the Bill from the Statute Book.
