SIR E. SHACKLETON'S PLANS IF SUFFICIENT MONEY IS AVAILABLE AUSTRALIAN ASKED TO JOIN THE EXPEDITION. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received June 29, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Sir Ernest Shackleton has invited Mr. Ernest Joyce, .who was with one of the previ6us Antarctic expeditions, to join his coming expedition. In a letter, he states that he proposes to direct the expedition in two sections — a Weddell Sea section and a Ross Sea section. The party in the Weddell Sea will include a transcontinental party, and the Ross Sea section will consist of six men to lay a depot at the foot of the Beardmore Glacier for the transcontinental party. Possibly the party will winter at Cape Evans, but this programme will bo adopted only if sufficient money is forthcoming ; otherwise, there will only be a Weddell Sea ship and one small party for the transcontinental journey.
