SIR PERCY GIROUARD
DIVORCE GRANTED TO HIS WIFE. (By Tyl 'graph.— Press Association.— Cop) right.) LONDON, 27th June. Colonel Sir Percy Girouard has been divorced. The suit was undefended. His wife, who sought the divorce, considered that her husband's bad temper was due to tho East African climate. [Sir Percy Girouard ia forty-seven years of age. He was High Commissioner of the Protectorate of Northern Nigeria, 1907-8 ; Governor of same 19089; Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the East Africa Protectorate, 1909-12. He was Director of Railways in South Africa, 1899-1902, and published a History of tlie Railways during the war in South Africa. Sir Percy was married in 1903 to the eldest daughter of tho Hon. Sir Richard Solomon, High Commissioner for the Union of South Africa.]
