on Saturday afternoon, and suffered defeat at the hands of the iocal representatives, Johnsonville winning two of the ilvo games played. Hutt one, and two being halved. Following arc the results of the respective games, the names of the Johnsonville players being given first in each case: — Sloane beat Robicson, 5 up and 4 to play; Adams 'beat Mason, 6 up and 4to play ; Kent and Jackson finished all square ; Manning and Gardener finished all square; Mills lost to Ilarris, 3 down and 2 to play.
