WELLINGTON OUTCLASSED.
University had little trouble in vanquishing the disappointing Wellington eleven. The game, which was played in a veritable mud puddle, was anything but a bright one, and it was easy to see early in the game that 'Varsity were the superior team. In the first half the winners secured five goals, while Wellington, through the instrumentality of Reed, obtained two. Coals were not co plentiful in the second half, and the game ended with the score :—University. 7; Wellington, 2. The winners' goals were compiled by K. Strack (4), Q. Strack (2), and C. Strack. Mr. C. P. M'Kenzie controlled the game.
