THE LOCAL TEAM. Tho selectors (Messrs. A. Griffiths, 0. O. Kcnner, and J. Lynskey) have chosen the following players to represent Wellington against the All Black team at the Athletic Park on Wednesday afternoon next: — Full-back, Beard (Welling ton) ; three-quarters, Fairc (University), Tilyard (Poneko). M'Taggart (Poneke); five-eighths, E. Roberts (Athletic), and P. J. Ryan (University) ; half, Nunn (Petone) j wing forward, Gilchrist (Melrose) ,' forwards, Parker (Petone), King (Poneke), Miller (Wellington), 801 l (Athletic), Beard (University), Pa.ton (Athletic), JM'Farlane (Petone). Eniorgencies: Backs, Grace (Wellington), E. Ryan (Petone) ; forwards, Cotter (Wellington), Kyne (Oriental), Mahoney (Poneke), and Lindsay (Petone). Members of the team unable to play a^6 asked to communicate with the secretary at once. Mr. A. C. Kitto has been appointed referee.
