"The Dandies," one of tho most popu* lar companies of entertainers that has yet visited Wellington, brought a highly successful season to a close in the Concert Chamber at the Town Hall on Saturday evening and received a fitting farewell. The chamber was crowded long before the commencement of the entertainment. The company submitted an excellent _ programme, and as marks of the public's appreciation of their visit Were presented with numerous bouquets boxes of chocolate and other gifts. "The Dandies" proceed north to-day, but will pay Wellington another visit before they return to Australia.
