Replying to allegations of unfair treatment of investors in the Western Australian Midland railway. Sir Newton Moore, Agent-General for Western Australia, in a long letter to tho Observer, sets out the circumstances of the company's concession, and jusOifieH the construction of the Wogan Hills-Mttllewa railway and the taxation of the Midland Company. The Observer insists that the conditions weie altered -to the detriment of tne Shareholders.
