SECRET SOCIETY MURDERS.
A sensational trial was held at Arrah, India, when some Hindus who were alleged to have committed a political dacoity in a temple in Behar and to have murdered a priest and a servant, appeared in Court. Nobody was arrested at the lime, but blood-stained clothes were discovered in a well. Four Hindus suddenly disappeared shortly after the murder, and the police failed to trace them until a man., arrested in connection with a conspiracy case, heard at Delhi, made a statement to the effect that the Behar murder was committed by a secret society. Another man was arrested and confessed, and a third man who was pardoned gave evidence at the trial.
