PROBABLE CANCER CURE.

The statement that an animal serum had been used in advanced cases of cancer with some success, made by Dr. W. H. Nowell, of the Boston University School of Medicine, at the annual meeting of the Connecticut Homoeopathic Society, was a subject of continued interest and discussion ampng physicians. Dr. Nowell said that in 230 cases of the most advanced stages, where the serum, made immune by a bio-chemical process, had been used, 30 per cent, showed permanent improvement, and 32 had died. He warned against praising the treatment too highly yet, in order, he said, not to raise' false hopes. He felt, however that it gave consider, able promise of success.
