BOWLING
THE VICTORIA CLUB. The annual meeting of the Victoria Bowling Club, held last evening, was attended by about fifty members. The following officeis were elected for the ensuing year : — President. Mr. G. Snaddon; directors, Messrs. F. Townsend, J. Kellow, F. North, J. W. Fossette, J. Varcoe, and A. Walker; treasurer, Mr. W. M. Tucker; secretary, Mr. F. J. Evans. Messrs. Keith, Snaddon, and Hueston were appointed delegates to the Wellington Bowling .Centre. It was resolved to support the proposed chungo in the pennant competitions on the lines laid down by the Wellington Bowling Centre. It was also decided to set aside the first Saturday in eveiy month during the season, clear of pennant gnmes, to enable, club matches to be playi^-
