INVALID SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTION

AUCKLAND, 20th May. As a result of protests made to the Auckland Education Board, five School Committee elections have been declared null and void owing to various irregularities. Comment was mada by board members on the loose methods adopted at these elections generally, and the opinion was expressed that a better method of electing committees should be adopted.
