MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE AGAINST MOTORMAN
AUCKLAND, 20th May. The hearing of the charge of manslaughter against George Frederick Eeles, the motorman of the fcramcar by which Michael Rohan was knocked down and fatally injured on 30th April, was commenced in the Police Court today. Deceased was employed by the Tramway Company, and was working as a surfaceman at the time of the fatality. The hearing was adjourned.
