A site was chosen on the high side of the path leading from the lions' cages, and the exhibit will be set into the bank. The tanks are each about 5 feet long, and will be set about 3 feet apart. The spaces will be filled with rockwork, which will also be arched over the topa of the tanks to keep them cool and free from falling debris. The tanks have glass fronts, and the combination of front and top lighting is remarkably effective in j showing off the live specimens. Altogether the aquarium will cover a length of about 125 feet. The visitors made an inspection of the Zoo, and Professor Prince congratulated the city upon the splendid condition of I the exhibits. He promised that when he ! returned to Canada he would try to find some specimens of interest to send to the gardens.
