MISSIONS TO SEAMEN

An enjoyable entertainment was provided last night at the Seamen's Insti tute by Mr. Walker. Pianoforte trios were contributed by Misses Morgan and Guv, songs by Misses Weston and I. Dix and M.essrs. G. Oakoy and M'Cassey. and Miss Dix and Miss Sillifant supplied elocutionary numbers. In each case encores were insisted on. Popular items were the graceful dancing of little Miss Rene Rogers, who, with Master Frank Logan, daijced the Highland fling and later in the evening the sailor's hornpipe and Irish jig The singing of " I'm Twenty-one To-day " by Mr. Morris, of H.M.S. Pyramus, the audience joining in, together with ohter choruses (Miss Bartley at the piano) was appreciated. Tho missioner (Mr. W. E. Cocks) presided.
