INTERNATIONAL HOCKEY
ALL ENGLAND WOMEN'S TEAM. A cable message has been received in Wellington stating that the All England Women's Hockey team, which is to tour the Dominion, left London last Manday for Sydney. Matches will be played, there — the team will take part in the inter-State tournament — before the players come on to New Zealand. The cable states that the Home association has agreed to the terms and programme suggested by the New Zealand body. That will .mean nineteen matches here, including three tests. The first match will probably be played in Wellington, against Wellington, on Ist August.
