RIVAL BUTTERS
VICTORIAN AND NEW ZEALAND "A GRATUITOUS LIBEL" MILK SUPPLY DELIVERY. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received May 20, 9.40 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Mr. Carroll, speaking at the annual conference of the Australasian Butter and Cheese Factories' Association regarding the quality of Australian butter compared with that of New Zealand, said the conclusions come to by the recent deputation that visited New Zealand were a gratuitous libel on Victoria as a butter-producing State. Given the same system of delivery of the milk supply the quality of Victorian butter would equal, and possibly surpass, the New Zealand.
