A FINANCIAL STATEMENT INCREASED VALUES ESTIMATED EXPENDITURE FOE 1914. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Keceived May 20, 9.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A financial statement submitted to the City Council showed that during the past three years the value of city property increased by £504,203 upon the rental value, and £3,049,567 upon the unimproved capital value basis, representing an increased rat 6 collection, without altering the amount in the pound, of £61^013. The estimated expenditure for 1914 exceeds that of 1913 by £83,567. The total estimated rate return is £449,739.
