Sea.—-Very heavy between 15ast Ciipe and Kaikotlra: Considerable bouthwards and on the wcit coast of the North Island; r^ugh northwards of Hast Cupc; increubinii on the west coast of the South Island and in Foveaux Strait. Tides.—High northward of Cape Egmont; moderate northward of Eatt Cape; good elsewhere. Warning signals for southerly gales are exhibited at Cape Maria van Diemen. Tiritirl, Kabi Cape, Castlepoint, Capes Campbfell, and Stephen Island, and at sunrise at Nugget Point, Centre Island, Capes Farewell Spit and Foulwind. Weather.—Squally, with heavy showers northward of Cape Egmont and Cape Campbell; changeable elsewhere, but boisterous conditions following, with rain probable; bnow on the higher levels, and hail and sleet in the South.
