LETTER SORTER SENT FOR SENTENCE
ALLEGED THEFT OF POSTAL NOTES. (BT TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Norman Tremain, aged 21 years, a letter-sorter at Auckland, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence on a charge of stealing letters from tho Post Office, one of which contained money. The theft was discovered through the accused forwarding the missing postal notes for Tattersall sweep tickets.
