LADIES' CHALLEGE CUPS WON BY SENIOR CADETS.

The various cadet companies in the Wellington District are now completing their course for the Ladies' Challenge Cups which have been provided out of the fund raised by Mrs. Godley, wife of General Godley, Officer Commanding the Forces. The cups are being presented for the best score made in the instructional practice of the annual musketry course, and the winners will be entitled to hold them for one year. Following are the names of the companies and the winners who have completed theiv course in the Wellington City and Suburban District : — Technical School, No. 1 Company : Cadet W. J. Kane. Technical School. No. 2 Company : ColSergt. C. P. Crane. Karori Cadets:' Cadet H. Funley. Scout Cadets, No. 27 Company : Sergt. 11. W. Wilson. The cups will be presented by General Hamilton at the cadet parade at Newtown Park on Saturday next.
