KENT-TERRACE PRESBYTERIAN. The annual meeting of the Kent-terrace Presbyterian Church was held last evening, the Rev. 3, Kennedy Elliott presiding. The report and balance-sheet, a summary of which has already been published, were adopted. The total income for the year was £1008 I3e 3d. Mention was made that £44 0s 7d had been subscribed for the orphanage, and that the yearly thank offering had amounted to £63 16s lOd. Mr. M. Eraser drew attention to the excellent plan of the envelope system of giving, and Mr. Horlor gave an account of what was being done to reach non-churchgoeTß in the neighbourhood. The Rev. J. K. Elliott thanked the congregation for ite support, and expressed bie gratification at 1 the progress which the Church was making. A scheme for the extension of the Church property was adopted, on the motion of Mr. C. S. FalconeT, seconded by Dr. J. S. Elliott. ST. JAMES'S PRESBYTERIAN. The annual meeting of the above church was held in St. James's Hall last evening. The Rev. W. Shirer presided over a Urge attendance. The report, a summary of which has already appeared in The Post, was adopted. The meeting was addressed by Messrs. Grant, Brooker, Johnstone, Peterson, Richmond, M'Lay, and Potter. A motion, moved by Mr. Allender, expressing appreciation of the work done by the Rev. Mr. Shirer and his wife, was carried unanimously. The minister, in reply, thanked those helpers who had so willingly assisted him. A new organ, besides other improvements, is to be provided for the Young Men's Bible Class. Her Excellency Lady Liverpool has consented to open the annual sale Of work to be held by the ladies' sewing bee in September.
