THREE FATALITIES
\ UPSET THE LAMP. Mrs. Violet Campbell, residing at No. 10, Sydney-street, met with severe injuries yesterday evening, and subse quently died at the Hospital. Sho was filling a lamp with kerosene, when the oil was accidentally spilt and ignited A quantity of it fell on Mrs. Campbell's clothing, and in a minute &he was enveloped, in flames. Detective Lewis proceeded to the house, and later a doctor arrived. Mrs. Campbell was lemoved to the Hospital, where she died at 1.20 a.m. to-day. She was about 25 years of age, had been married about four years, and had one child. DEATH FROM BURNS. A man nanvd Oeorge Johnson, admitted to the ftospital on 21st July, died there yesterday -as the result, it is stat j ed, of exhaustion caused by burns. APPARENT SUICIDE. Edward Warren, 34 years of age, a working patieno at tho Lahmann Health Hotne, Miramar, was yesterday afternoon found lying dead in another patient's room vith a. wound in his throat. It is surmised that he went to the room and, with a razor which he found there, inflicted the injury upon himself. It is probable that inquests upon all three fatalities will be held to-morrow morning. At present the Coroner is absent* from the city on business.
