WEST COASTERS' ASSOCIATION
At the meeting to be held to-morrow evening Mr. Grimmond, from Hokitika, will be present on behalf of the Westland Goldfields Jubilee, and arrangements will be made for Mr. Grimmond to address a public meeting at an' early date concerning the future developments of the coast. A splendid supply of lantern slides has just been prepared from recent photographs of South Westland, which includes alpine climbing, waterfalls, picturesque scenery, at Boss Okorito. and other favourable places so often visited by tourists. At its sitting yesterday the Counties' Conference passed a motion of condolence with the widow of Mr. S. J. Carman, who as a. vice-president was for many years an active member of the executive of the association. Wellington's Rugby representatives will train at the Athletio gymnasium tomorrow night.
