CANADIAN CADETS

TRIP ROUND THE HARBOUR. The Canadian Cadets were the guests of , the Union Steam Ship Company on a trip round the harbour in the s.s. Natone to-day. The New Zealand Cadets were also invited. The Canadians were in charge of Captain Seymour. Majors J. E. Hume and Potter, of ' the New Zealand Forces, were also on board. The Natone conveyed the party first to Fort Ballance, whero they were shown over the works. Then the steamer headed for Day's Bay, where a pleasant hour was spent. Luncheon was served on board the steamer. This afternoon Colonel Allen (Minister for Defence) and Mrs. Allen entertained both bodies of cadets at the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, at an "At Home."
