LIBERAL THREAT.
The Dundee Advertiser (a Liberal organ) contained the following on' the 16th of last month : — "We have good reason for stating that the doyer^ment ar.e a£ present watching very closely the sayings and doings of Mr. Bonar L^aw, Sip E. 'Mr. fitp^bh has ,told the jconntry that something Very startling js w'prepar^ipn jand'wifi profcably take place before the resumption of Parliament. Sir E. Carson lias proclaimed his jn ten £?> on of going over to Ulster and breajfing every law that is possible in order that Englishmen may be 'kjeked' p.ut of apathy. In the event', of disturbance the Government will act with the utmost rigour and with stern judicial indifference to the position of offenders. In somewhat similar circumstances, it is worth recalling, Mr. Parnell and several of his associates were arrested and lodged in Kilmainham."
