It has now been definitely decided that the Feaeral-Houlder-Shiro steamer Somerset will not return to Wellington, but will sail finally from Lyttelton for Avoninouth on Sunday morning, 24th inst. The hist connecting boat from Wellington will be tho Mararoa, leaving on Saturday night. CHARTERED. The Anglo-Saxou has been chartered by the Vacuum Oil Company .to load at New York for the four main New Zealand ports. She is expected to leave New York about the end of this month, and is due here towards the end of June or early la July. Messrs. Johnston and Co. advise that .the Moa and Putiki left Wanganui last night, the former for Greymouth and' tho latter for Westpori. Both vessels are loading for Wauganui. Although she lias been three days Jn port at Lyttelton no work has been done on board tho Kini owing to the shortage of railway trucks. The lack of rolling 6tocU has caused a great deal of , inconvenience,' and on Wednesday evening, when six gangs of men -were engaged for work, .it was announced that there were only a few trucks available for discharging.
