MEETING OF CHAMPIONS.

On Saturday next the Wellington College Old Boys' Swimming Club will hold its first annual gala. The programme to be put before the public is undoubtedly an interesting one, and it is doubtful whether there will be any better swimming to be soen in Wellington during the present season. Three champions are competing. One is Tod Solomons, the 100 yds champion of Australia for 1910-11, and ex-world's record holder for tho 50yds (24 l-ssec). The other two are Cyril Brice, holder of 100 yds championship, and Malcolm E. Champion, who holds tho record for the New Zealand mile (24min 39 4-5 sec).
