She picked tip the first of the FifeeMrete boats on the evening of the dft.y the Fifeshire was wrecked. The Adour searched for three da.y«, when she found the second boat, containing twenty-seven pen&one, who were in an exhausted state. A few hours later she rescued the capta-m's boat. The rescues were difficult owing to a tough sea.
