LODGE MEETINGS.

The Weekly session of the Eclipse Lodge on Friday evening last took the .form of an_ open meeting, the occasion boing the ninth anniversary of the lodge. Bro. M. Morris, C.T., presided, and there was a large attendance. An enjoyable piogramme was gone thiough, t.he items being given by Misses Adams (2), Scon, Messrs. Potter, Price, Down, Morris, and Dryden. Refreshments were served, and reference made of the occasion by members. Increased interest was manifested, and hopes were expressed for a successful year. The "anniversary voluntary subscription" brought forth a good response. Votes of thanks were accorded visitors a,nd contributors. Next meeting is down for a debate on "Is military training in the be?t interests of the people ?"' Iho affirmative is to be taken by Bro. Dorm, and the opposing side by Bro Ooodger.
