By Telegraph. -Pfe6i Asßociation.<~Corty?ijlrt, (Received August 28, 11.45 a.m.) ' LONDON, 27th August, The Frozen Meat Trade Association's Smithfield market quotations for the undertnentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of iiofc less than one hundred carcases of mutton or lamb, or twenty-five quarters of beef of fair average quality. The quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the bulk of the shipmefata now on the market. The prices which follow are ,on an average a f artFmg per Ib more than the Value ex ship, this difference representing an average cost in expenses, handling, conveyance, and selling the meat:— New Zealand sheep—Canterbury, none offering • Southland, none offering j North Island, 3|d. , Now Zealand ewes, 3id. New Zealand lambs—Canterbury, light s|d, medinm Bid, heavy sd; Southland, 5 3-16 d: North Island, s£d'; selected brands, 5 3'l6d, New Zealand beef-KFores, 2sd; hinds, 3£d. Australian sheep— Light, 3J<l j heavy, 3}dj ewes, 3gd. Australian, iambs-— None offering. Australian beef— -Fores, ' 2id; hinds, 3 5-l6d. - ' South American sheep—Light, 3jd; heavy, 3 946 d.
