TAHI KAKA'S FATE.
MATTER BEING CONSIDERED BY CABINET. A meeting of the Executive Council, g resided over by His Excellency the rovernor, was held yesterday evening to consider the case of the young Maori, Tahi Kaka, who was condemned to death for the murder of John Freeman, a gumdigger, at Puhipuhi, north of Auckland. The meeting was adjourned till this morning, and lasted until this afternoon. Up to the time The Post went to press no decision had been come to. -
