NOTES FROM WANGANUI. jBS TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WANGANUI, Thia Day: The weather was fine and the tracks in good order this morning. Lady Medallist and Madam Madcap went six furlongs fast, the former, with a light boy up, having the best of matters. North East and St. Bill went a solid round. Miss Mischief went twice round at a solid pace. Peirene covered five furlongs attractively, and Vice-Admiral did a circuit at a strong pace. Dearest slipped over seven furlongs with St. Felix, but was not extended. The former is very well. Kopu and Ngakau galloped half a mile fast, when the latter stopped, Kopu going on another round at a solid pace. Astraea covered two circuits strongly. Grandee sprinted half a mile nicely. Seldom has been scratched for the Hack Hurdles.
