Loridau, landed in a field at Rbeims,, and left his aeroplane unguarded whilo he went to lunch. On returning, he found that only the motor and some damaged metal wotk of his machine remained. The peasants, thinking the aeroplane had been abandoned, broke it up. and took away parts as souvenirs.
