The new JapMiesie Treaty does not alter the taa-iit provisions of the 1894 treaty, but a new trade arrangement may be made a,t any time 1 it is deemed | desirable. Such arrangement would pro- | bably follow on the lines of the [ Canadian Reciprocity Agreement.
