John M'Coll, when using dynamite, was caught by an explosion and his right side was blown in. He received a compound fracture of the ribs, also injuries to a leg. Dr. Cairns made a rapid journey from Cook's River to attend the, sufferer, whose condition is very serious. M Coll is a married man with a svife and two children, who reside in the North Island 7
