The Wellington Homing Pigeon, Society's first race of the season (from Hawera, 121 miles) was flown last week, and resulted as follows : — Mr. F. Williams's "Enchantress II." (953 yards per minute), 1; Mr. J. Bolton's No. 356 (946 yards), 2; Mr. W. Ahler's No. 87 (937 yards), 3; Mr. C. Bidding's "Alpha" (936 yards), 4; Mr. A. Clark's "Bruno" (936 yards), 5. Eighty-three birds, representing fourteen lofts, competed. I
