Mr. George Armstrong, of New Zealand, who was a passenger by the Changsha.'died on board the eteamer on the voyage from the East, and wa» buried at Thursday Island, in Torres Straits. MR. In regard to the death of the New Zealander, Mr. "George Armstrong, mentioned in the Brisbane cablegram, to-nigbt, this may be Mr. George Armstrong, late proprietor of the Opunak© Times, who was on a tour ot the worid, and was expected back in a month ntwo. He was about 58 years of age and his parents reside in Carterton. DUNEDIN, This Day. The probabilities are that George Armstrong, who died on the Changsha and was buried at Thursday Island, ia the engineer of the dredge Paracale at Manila. He was expected to return to his home at Dunedin this month. Ho was a single man.
