"JACK THE KIPPER."

DR. FORBES WINSLOW'S THEORY DISCREDITED BY DETECTIVES. THE WOMAN CORRESPONDENT. By Telegraph.— Press" Aisociatlon.— Copyrisht. • (Received July 25, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The detectives here utterly discredit Dr. Forbes Winslow's "Jack the Rapper" theory — that the notorious murderer is a native of Melbourne, who was educated at Scotch College, and returned to Murrumbidgee (New South Walee), on his way to Melbourne, in ICB9, arid who is now in South Africa. They state that Dr. Winalow's woman correspondent, who asserted that the doctor's tracking work had frightened "Jack the Ripper" into returning to Melbourne, was recently treated for alcoholism.
